Services
We work with the UK National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) and have a dedicated liaison officer who regularly visits us.We also have local parents who are trained family supporters and who provide support and information to parents and carers of deaf children. They help parents to navigate the maze of information available and share knowledge of local services. Being parents of deaf children themselves, they have first hand experience of what it is like for families when babies and children are identified as hard of hearing or deaf.This experience enables them to offer enormous help with any concerns and questions parents may have.
