New logo
The committee decided the logo had served the society well, but that it was time for it to be refreshed and brought up to date. We worked with Adapt Design a leading design agency in Jersey, who offered their services to the society free of charge.
The design brief was to create a new fresh look for the society, Adapt were keen to understand the support we provide and the work the charity does to provide a foundation for the new logo. Adapt came back with many new and exciting designs, but these did not really work for the committee without the accompanying explanation, the committee reasoned that although they liked the designs they wanted something instantly recognizable, much more literal for our community. Adapt took this amended brief onboard and come back with a second batch of designed which were much more in tune with the committees thinking. A very hard short listing process followed resulting in the final image. We felt this design provided the most in terms of impact, energy and depicted our children and young adults leaping forward with enjoyment in life. However, all was not over, colour was the next problem! Adapt supplied 80 colour samples of the chosen design, which they had kindly shortlisted from a larger list. After another short listing process the committee decided the option they most preferred was a variation on two of the 80 supplied, so Adapt had one more version to create.
We would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to Peter Landon and his team for their enthusiasm and very professional delivery.
