Pay as you go mobile with Jersey Telecoms. To find out your balance, you have to dial 233 and a voice message tells you your current balance. Not very helpful for the Ddeaf!! However if you dial *#133#, JT will send you a credit balance via text. To confirm that is *#133#
We encourage and support families that wish to attend valueable parenting weekends. These parenting days are held regionally in the UK and provide parents with the opportunity to come together and share parenting tips and strategies. The days are run by experienced facilitators and enable parents to problem solve and explore parenting issues. 3 of the parenting days that are planned for 2005/2006 are aimed at parents of deaf children with additional needs. The Parenting day programme includes:
- Developing parenting skills
- Dealing with emotions and frustrations
- Developing independence and managing risks
- Validation of ourselves as parents

"Parenting a deaf child" contains a range of useful advice and tips from parents of deaf children.The booklet was produced by parents for parents and we would like to thank all the parents who contributed their time and expertise.
