We encourage and support families that wish to attend valueable parenting weekends. These parenting days are held regionally in the UK and provide parents with the opportunity to come together and share parenting tips and strategies. The days are run by experienced facilitators and enable parents to problem solve and explore parenting issues. 3 of the parenting days that are planned for 2005/2006 are aimed at parents of deaf children with additional needs. - Dealing with emotions and frustrations
- Developing independence and managing risks
- Validation of ourselves as parents
